Every year we tune in to watch celebrities face their fears I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here Now! whether it's sleeping with rats or eating disgusting creepy crawlies.

And of course Ant and Dec give us all the LOLZ Down Under but there is one star who has been a consistent fan favourite for the past five years - Kiosk Keith.

The grumpy shopkeeper, who dishes out the treats after the Dingo Dollar Challenge in his hut, has won a legion of fans for his surly demeanour.

The star, who never speaks on screen, left viewers outraged in this series when he was of sick and replaced by Kiosk Kath.

But the iconic character is not actually even called Keith and doesn't get a penny for appearing on the show.

The 52-year-old Aussie labourer is a father-of-four called Raymond who originally started on the ITV show as a set builder in 2002.

In 2012, he was given the name Keith and given his role working in The Outback Shack.

He declares on his Twitter profile, which has 8,011 followers that he's "Aussie LAD born and bred. Employee of the month at The Outback Shack".

He's also boasted: "I'm the biggest Celebrity in I'm A Celebrity."

His ex wife, Donna told The Sun: "He just thinks it's funny. It's just a joke. As far as he's concerned he's an average father who goes to work, does Kiosk Keith and goes home.

"When they brought Kiosk Keith in as a character, they offered him a part. So he doesn't just do Keith, he still works as a labourer out there too."

She also revealed that he's just paid for his role as a crew member and doesn't receive any extra for playing Keith.

Donna added: "He has to stay back sometimes to do some of the games for Kiosk Keith - that’s time when he should be at home.

"He’s not getting paid the kind of money he should be getting paid for Kiosk Keith - Kiosk Keith’s huge."
