Everyone's wearing low-rise jeans, ultra-slim sunglasses are the eyewear of choice, your hair is probably slicked back into a spiky bun and Girls Aloud have just announced their latest tour… you'd be forgiven for thinking we'd journeyed back to 2002. But nope, we are still very much in 2023, and nothing confirms the noughties are back in style quite like the return of the girl group of the decade.
After a decade away from the limelight, Cheryl, Kimberly Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts have announced they are reuniting for a 2024 tour – The Girls Aloud Show – which will see them undoubtedly play their iconic hits, as well as pay tribute to fifth bandmate Sarah Harding, who tragically passed away in 2021.
The group announced their reunion with an Instagram post, which stated: “We’re so excited to announce that we will be touring the UK & Ireland in May and June 2024. A celebration of Sarah, our music and our incredible fans. We can’t wait to sing and dance with you all once again. -Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine & Nicola.”

The group was formed in 2002 on hit TV show Popstars: The Rivals, and spent the next 10 years dominating the charts (and our iPods – remember those?!). The tour announcement marks 21 years since the group formed, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than seeing the band IRL.
