Adrien Broner is inclined to make his return. The 33-year-old was scheduled to square off against Michael Williams Jr. Unfortunately, Williams Jr. suffered an injury during a sparring session. Due to this, the boxer pulled out of the bout and thereafter the bout was called off.  The last few years for Broner have not been easy. The former super featherweight champion has been victorious in 2 out of his last 5 bouts.

Not to mention, Broner also was dealing with Alcohol abuse for a substantial amount of time. Fortunately, the boxer has made amends by leading a disciplined and healthy life in recent months. His comeback, as per ESPN is set for April. He recently did something out of the blue which is quite startling, to say the least.

Adrien Broner has a new look

Broner had a very thick beard for many years. To the extent, it covered half of his face. Recently, the boxer cut no corners in shaving his beard in its entirety. He took to his Instagram story to share his look post-shave. Evidently, the fighter looks very different. One might not recognize him without any facial hair.

Broner himself was seen making jokes about his new appearance. He took to Instagram and captioned the story, “I can’t until school Monday”. He also added a laughing emoji. Notably, his beard was a prevalent part of how some fans remembered him. Meanwhile, is there any benefit to having facial hair in combat sports?
